Warranty
Ford has a whole range of programs, products and services designed to make Ford owners the most satisfied motor vehicle owners in Vietnam.
Ford Vietnam has a legal obligation to provide warranty cover for all its products. The Ford warranty is a written statement of the company's responsibility for the repair and replacement of defective parts. It is also Ford's responsibility to ensure that Customer's warranty concerns are administered correctly and expediently granted, as they have expectations about the reliability of the products.
Ford Vietnam warrant to the owner of each Ford vehicle, which is assembled in Vietnam any defectives of material and/or workmanship within a period of 2 years or 50000km( except Transit extended to 100000km) whichever come fist from the original date of delivery or first use. Under this warranty, repair or replacements will be made free of charge for both parts and labor, using genuine Ford parts.
Customer responsibility:
- There are a number of things that customers need to ensure, so they gain maximum benefit from the warranty. These factors are:
- The customer has a responsibility to use, maintain and care for the vehicle as outlined in the owners manual.
- Ensure that the correct fuel specified for the vehicle is used.
- Retain maintenance service and inspection records to verify the maintenance history if required.
- Ensure that any defect or fault that arises in any of the components covered by the warranty is -immediately rectified
- Take the vehicle to an authorized Ford dealer or service center's place of business, during business hours to obtain warranty services
This warranty policy does not apply to:
- Damage resulting from accident, fire or other casualty; damage resulting from lack of maintenance;
- Failure due to misuse, racing,overloading, negligence, carelessness, e methods for the vehicle as described in the Owner’s Manual;
- Parts not supplied by the manufacturer of this vehicle, or overloading beyond the specified vehicle weight rating;
- Deterioration of paint, bright metal or soft trim from normal use or exposure and/or maintenance parts like engine, oil, air, fuel filter, brake pad, lining and spark plug ...etc
- Any vehicle on which the odometer has been altered so that the actual mileage of the vehicle cannot be determined.
- Ford Vietnam assumes no responsibility for the loss of use of the vehicle, loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss or consequent damages
